2nd October — Joules Brewery Awards Night Photography

It wasn’t long before we returned to Joules Brewery, this time for the annual Joules Brewery Awards Night on 2nd October. This special evening brought together Joules landlords from across the Midlands and Shropshire to celebrate the incredible achievements of the brand over the past year.

For us, it was a particularly meaningful night — marking over a year of collaboration with Joules, from August 2024 to the present. It was a genuine pleasure to see so many familiar faces, landlords we’ve met and photographed throughout the year, now coming together in one room to celebrate.

The awards night, beautifully organized by Rachel and Georgie, featured spectacular raffle prizes — including Champions League tickets — but the true highlight was the recognition of everyone’s hard work. From shields and hammers to plaques and steins, each award was personal, meaningful, and heartfelt. Joules doesn’t do these events just for show; they understand the value of brand building and the importance of celebrating every small detail that contributes to their success.

It was inspiring to witness how attention to detail and brand ethos extends across every aspect of their business — from the brewery and pub spaces to the awards themselves. With their expansion into wine and unwavering commitment to building community-focused hospitality, Joules continues to stand out in a challenging industry. Their approach is thoughtful, reinvested, and driven by a real passion for quality beer and meaningful customer experiences.

We had an absolute blast photographing the awards ceremony, capturing the arrival of guests, and documenting the pride everyone felt in seeing the new brewery site and events space — many for the very first time. The energy in the room was electric, and the pride of wearing the red cross of Joules was palpable. Truly inspirational.

Working with Joules, and especially Georgie, over the last 12 months has been a real honor. We’re proud to champion local businesses, and there’s nothing more local than your local pub.
