Content Strategy to build Communities

I finally realised what it is I am and why I’m doing this.
Throughout my career, I’ve always found myself in positions of leadership. I’ve rarely been comfortable simply being part of a team, and naturally, I’ve always gravitated towards responsibility. Why? I’m not entirely sure. Maybe I was never very good at taking orders, or maybe I struggled with the idea of someone else having the power to shape my future. Either way, I pushed myself to become a leader.
Looking back, there is one thing that has defined almost every role I’ve ever had: togetherness. I built teams, but more importantly, I built communities.
From teams at Amazon and buildings at HelloFresh, to DNF Running Club, FabSoc and the Nomad Golf movement, none of them ever meant just making money to me. They were driven by something much deeper. A genuine passion for bringing people together and creating communities where people can thrive. Communities where opportunities are fair, barriers to entry are removed and transparency matters.
And I think it’s time to explore that more. It’s time to take Juke and the businesses we work with on a journey of community building, because that’s what I know. It’s what I’ve spent my entire career doing.
So moving forward, Juke needs to become more than the team that takes your photos and creates your videos. We want to be the team you can rely on to advise, guide and create content with a bigger purpose. Content that brings people together, creates connection and helps turn audiences into communities.
For too long, I’ve struggled with how to position Juke and how we differentiate ourselves from other businesses offering similar services. But I think I know now. This is it.
So now, I have to commit to a new journey and a new way of thinking about every conversation we have moving forward. Content strategy that build communities. This is us now.
At Juke, we don’t just create content. We help you build your community.
And this is only the beginning.
