On November 5th, we were back with the Leon Barnett Football Academy to capture their match against Alvechurch Football Academy—a fixture that promised competitive football and plenty of opportunities for dynamic sports photography and videography. Leon reached out for more interview-style content, so we arranged to meet at Alvechurch’s setup near the Birmingham City FC training ground, a location perfect for high-quality sports photography, football videography, and drone footage.

We arrived early to start aerial drone filming of the pitches. As we waited, Leon somehow managed to slip in through a different entrance—so the first sighting we had of him was in the middle of the pitch while we were still sat in the car. Cameras out, drones up, and we were rolling.
Warm-ups began with Leon and Chris organising the squad. Leon’s team looked every bit a professional outfit, sitting comfortably in the top three of the table, while Alvechurch were battling near the bottom. But football never reads the script…
23 seconds in… 1–0 down.
Half-time… 8–0.

From a filming perspective, it was chaos—in the best possible way. From a sporting perspective, painful. Alvechurch perfected the long-ball game, and their keeper delivered a masterclass: saving everything, catching everything, then launching attacks with inch-perfect distribution. Nearly every Alvechurch shot found the net. Despite Leon’s side playing the better football, the scoreboard told a very different story.
Half-time was tough, and we captured the raw emotion that comes with a heavy scoreline—content that always performs well on social media due to its authenticity.
The second half brought improvement: a well-earned goal, better shape, more control (helped slightly by Alvechurch’s main winger being subbed). Alvechurch added another, Leon’s side missed a penalty, and the final whistle drew a line under a game that got away early on. The lads showed character and grit all the way through.

Even on a difficult day, we delivered what we do best:
High-resolution action photography
Cinematic football videography
B-roll for branding and storytelling
Aerial drone footage for dynamic match perspectives
After full-time, we filmed a 7–8 minute interview with Leon, focusing on development, leadership, and lessons from the match. We supplied a full set of short-form reels optimised for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts—ideal for sports academy marketing, recruitment videos, and sponsorship promotion. Leon even showed up with a fresh trim for the camera (shout-out to the barber).
It wasn’t the result he planned, and it’s never fun filming an absolute drubbing—but that’s football. Unpredictable. Emotional. Human. Exactly why sports content matters.

We packed the gear, backed up the footage, and headed home.Within 48 hours, Leon had everything:
Fully edited photos
Drone clips
Reels with his academy watermark
Interview footage
A full library of content ready for social media and marketing
Fast turnaround. High-quality visuals. Zero compromises.
If you need sports photography, football videography, or drone coverage with elite speed and consistency—we’re ready when you are.
