We thought December was going to be quiet. Everything was wrapped up, and I even posted on LinkedIn that we were ready for a Christmas break. WRONG.

On December 19th, we had two shoots in one day. First up: Joules Brewery Waterside Tap in Birmingham. They were launching their new menu and needed images and videos fast, thanks to the festive rush. We had a 2-hour window to turn up, shoot, and capture as much content as possible.

The menu was full of festive flavors—think hearty pies, loaded burgers, seasonal specials, and irresistible desserts. Our challenge was to make every dish look vibrant, fresh, and mouth-watering under real-time restaurant conditions, while also capturing the atmosphere of the taproom and the personality of the owners, George and Tori.

The result? Over 100 images, 8 reels, and a promo video featuring the owners talking about their new offerings. Stress levels were high, but we nailed it. Limited time, high pressure—this is exactly where we thrive.

They’ve already booked us again for February. More food, more fast-paced shoots, more fun. Roll on more flavors, more reels, and more of that “hungry-for-content” energy we love!
